Combustion method of gas boiler burner:

Natural gas boilers are now widely used, but do you know how the burners of the gas boilers you use burn?

Gas boilers generally use diffusion combustion, full premixed combustion and flameless combustion.

1. Diffusion combustion

The diffusion combustion method does not perform pre-mixing, but diffuses the gas at the nozzle orifice, and then burns it.

Advantages: This kind of combustion method does not perform pre-mixing, but diffuses the gas at the nozzle orifice, and then burns it. The combustion method is relatively simple, and the flame is relatively stable.

Disadvantages: Due to the long flame, it is easy to produce incomplete combustion, which will produce more carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, which is not conducive to the full utilization of boiler fuel, the improvement of boiler thermal efficiency, and it is difficult to reach boiler emission standards.

2. Fully premixed combustion method

The full premixed combustion method is to mix natural gas with air before combustion, and the mixed gas enters the burner cavity for combustion.

Advantages: pre-mixing air and gas, heat transfer with multiple radiators, and increased heat transfer intensity. The advantage of using this combustion method is that the burning flame is clearer and the thermal efficiency is higher.

Disadvantages: The combustion premix ratio requires precise combustion rate, fast combustion, uniform combustion, and sufficient radiation heat transfer.

3. Flameless combustion

A combustion method that uniformly mixes the space before combustion with the gas in the gas boiler. When using this method, the oxygen required during the combustion process of the gas does not need to be obtained in the surrounding air, and only needs to be mixed with the air to reach the combustion zone to achieve instantaneous combustion completion.

When choosing a combustion method, you need to compare the advantages and disadvantages of different combustion methods. A good combustion method can also help the boiler achieve full combustion, improve thermal efficiency, and reduce emissions. Therefore, it is important to choose carefully.
