What are PLCs?
A PLC is an automatic control system, the PLC acts as the physical interface between the burner and the SCADA or HMI system. PLC can communicate, monitor and control complex automation processes, such as burner temperature control, etc.
PLC controlled biomass burners
Biomass burners use biomass pellets as fuel to heat individual rooms or power central heating and hot water boilers by burning wood chips, sawdust or logs through a biomass heating system. Stoves burn logs or pellets to heat a room.
